there are tribes for people who belong to all kinds of various communities and scenes and subcultures. the shapeshifters, then, are people who are defined more by their ability to pass between a number of different groups rather than by their ability to fit into any one of them. if you know what it's like to be at odds with everything you were supposed to be a part of...we feel you. there are too many options out there for determining identity to be limited to just one group's aesthetics, ethics, traditions, skin color, sexuality, or music taste. we are mold-breakers, ground-shakers, curious little bits, and there better be a tribe for us.
